SEO Audits + Growth Plans

You Can’t Fix What You Haven’t Measured — Do You Know Why Your Site Isn’t Ranking?

Most businesses that struggle with search visibility have the same problem: they don’t know exactly what’s holding them back. It might be technical issues Google can’t crawl past. It might be thin content, weak keyphrase targeting, or missing citations. An LGX SEO audit finds out — and then fixes it. We don’t hand you a 40-page report and disappear. We audit, we prioritize, and we get to work.

Why Most SEO Efforts Stall Out

What Is an SEO Audit and Why Is It the Right Place to Start?

Investing in SEO without an audit is like renovating a house without a home inspection — you might fix some things, but you’ll miss the structural problems that are limiting everything else. A proper SEO audit looks at three layers:

1
Technical HealthCrawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile performance, broken links, redirect chains, and structured data issues that prevent Google from properly reading your site.
2
On-Page Content + Keyphrase TargetingWhether your pages are targeting the right keyphrases, whether your metadata is optimized, whether your content is structured to rank — and where the biggest on-page opportunities are being missed.
3
Off-Page Authority + CitationsYour citation count, backlink profile, Google Business Profile status, and how your local authority compares to competitors ranking above you for your target keyphrases.

Every LGX audit covers all three layers and delivers a prioritized action plan — not a list of problems, but a roadmap for fixing them in the order that will move your rankings fastest.

Our Audit Process

How Does LGX Actually Conduct an SEO Audit?

An LGX audit is a hands-on diagnostic — not an automated report from a single tool. We combine data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, and direct site review to build a complete picture. Here’s how it works:

1
Discovery CallWe start with a 30-minute call to understand your business, your audience, your competitors, and what success looks like for you. This context shapes everything — we’re not running a generic crawl, we’re auditing your specific situation.
2
Access + Technical ReviewWe connect to your Google properties — Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile, and Ads if applicable — and begin the technical review. We look at crawlability, indexing, speed, schema, and off-site setup. Obvious fixes get made immediately.
3
On-Page + Keyphrase AnalysisWe review your pages against the keyphrases you should be targeting — looking at metadata, heading structure, content depth, internal linking, and ranking data. We identify where you have a real shot at moving up and where you’re leaving opportunity on the table.
4
Fixes + Prioritized RecommendationsDepending on your tier, we implement on-page fixes directly or deliver a prioritized recommendations report. Everything is organized by expected impact — we tell you what to do first, why it matters, and what outcome to expect.
5
Review + Next StepsWe walk you through findings in a recap meeting or detailed written report — your choice. For Growth Plan clients, this meeting includes a full roadmap discussion so you leave knowing exactly what the next 6 to 12 months of SEO investment should look like.

Honest Qualification

Is an SEO Audit the Right Next Step for Your Business?

An SEO audit is almost always worth doing — but the right tier depends on where you are and what you want to do with the findings.

✓ This Is For You If…

  • You have a website but don't rank for anything meaningful — or don't know what you rank for
  • You've been investing in SEO without seeing real movement
  • You're about to invest in a new website and want to know what content and structure to build around
  • Your traffic has dropped and you don't know why
  • You want to understand your SEO situation before committing to an ongoing monthly program
  • You're launching in a new market or adding new services and need a strategic starting point

→ Consider Starting Elsewhere If…

  • Your website was just built and properly optimized — give it 3 to 6 months before auditing organic performance
  • You're looking for ongoing monthly SEO management without a diagnostic first — we can start there, but an audit will get you better results faster
  • Your primary goal is paid ads — Google Ads is a separate service that doesn't require an organic SEO audit first

Why LGX for SEO Audits

What Makes an LGX SEO Audit Different From What Other Agencies Offer?

We Fix Things, Not Just Find Them

Most agencies deliver an audit report and walk away. LGX audits include implementation — we make the fixes ourselves rather than handing you a list of problems to figure out. Even our entry-tier Foundation Audit includes immediate off-site fixes across your Google properties.

We’ve Been Doing This Since 2010

LGX has been doing SEO audits since before most of our competitors knew what Google Search Console was. We've worked through every major algorithm update and know what actually moves rankings vs. what just looks good in a report. That experience shows in the quality of what we find and the prioritization of what we fix first.

We Connect the Audit to a Real Growth Plan

An audit without a strategy is just a report. Our Growth Plan tier takes the findings and builds them into a prioritized 6 to 12 month roadmap — what to fix, what to build, what to target next, and in what order. For clients who move into a monthly retainer, the audit becomes the foundation everything is built on.

We Talk to You Like a Business Owner, Not a Client

SEO reports are often full of jargon designed to make the work sound more complicated than it is. LGX delivers audit findings in plain language — what's wrong, why it matters, what we're going to do about it, and what you should expect. You'll leave every review meeting knowing exactly where you stand.

Your SEO Audit Questions, Answered

What Do People Ask Before Booking an SEO Audit With LGX?

LGX offers four SEO audit tiers. The SEO Foundation Audit + Quick Fixes is $475 and covers technical cleanup, keyphrase opportunity identification, and baseline benchmarking. The SEO Diagnostic Audit with On-Page Fixes is $675 and adds on-page implementation and a UX opportunity review. The SEO Audit, Fixes + Growth Plan is $1,125 and includes everything in the Diagnostic tier plus an evergreen content strategy, internal linking plan, city page recommendations, and a full prioritized growth roadmap. The SEO Audit + Recommendations Report is custom-quoted based on scope and typically covers 4 to 6 hours of analysis. Schedule a discovery call and we’ll recommend the right tier for your situation.
The Foundation Audit typically takes 3 to 5 business days from when we receive access to your properties. The Diagnostic Audit with on-page fixes runs 5 to 7 business days. The full Audit + Growth Plan typically takes 7 to 10 business days. All tiers begin with a 30-minute discovery call, and all include a recap meeting or written report upon completion.
We’ll need access to Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and your Google Business Profile at minimum. For clients running ads, access to Google Ads is helpful. We’ll send a simple access request after the discovery call — we use view or analyst-level access so we’re never making changes without your knowledge, and we walk you through what we’re looking at throughout the process.
Both — depending on the tier. Even the Foundation Audit includes immediate off-site fixes across your Google properties (GA, GTM, GSC, Ads). The Diagnostic Audit adds on-page fixes directly to your website. The Growth Plan tier includes the most comprehensive set of fixes plus strategic recommendations. The Recommendations Report tier is reporting only — no implementation — and is designed for businesses that have their own team to execute the fixes.
The Diagnostic Audit identifies what’s limiting your performance and fixes the most impactful on-page issues. The Growth Plan tier goes further — it adds an evergreen content strategy, internal linking recommendations, city page suggestions, third-party tool recommendations (like CallRail), and a full prioritized roadmap for the next 6 to 12 months of SEO investment. If you want to leave with not just fixes but a clear strategic direction, the Growth Plan is the right choice.
You don’t require one, but we strongly recommend it. Starting monthly SEO work without an audit is like building without a blueprint — you’ll make progress, but you’ll miss the structural issues that are limiting your ceiling. The audit tells us exactly where to focus first and ensures every dollar of monthly investment is going toward the highest-impact work. Many clients use the audit as an on-ramp to a monthly retainer.
We use a combination of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, and direct manual review of your website and Google Business Profile. We don’t rely on a single automated tool — the combination of data sources gives us a more complete and accurate picture than any single platform can provide. For clients interested in AI search visibility alongside traditional SEO, we also layer in an LLM discovery audit using ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
After the audit and recap meeting, most clients move in one of three directions: they implement the recommendations on their own, they engage LGX for additional on-page work or citation building, or they begin a Monthly SEO Retainer where LGX manages ongoing growth. There’s no pressure to commit to anything after the audit — but most clients find that having a clear picture of their SEO situation naturally leads to wanting to act on it.

Stop Guessing. Start Knowing.

Ready to Find Out Exactly What’s Holding Your Site Back?

Most businesses that struggle with SEO aren’t doing everything wrong — they just don’t know which specific things are holding them back. An LGX audit finds those things, fixes what can be fixed immediately, and gives you a clear plan for everything else. Schedule a discovery call and we’ll recommend the right tier for where you are.
