What platform does LGX build websites on?

We build primarily on WordPress — it’s the most flexible, scalable, and SEO-friendly platform available for business websites, and it gives you genuine ownership of your site. For e-commerce, we build on Shopify when that’s the right fit. We work within Avada as our preferred WordPress theme framework, which gives us the design control and performance optimization that most business sites require.

How long does a website project typically take?

It depends on the scope. A single landing page or service page can be turned around in a week or two. A full website build — homepage, interior pages, blog setup, and launch — typically takes four to eight weeks depending on how quickly content and feedback are provided. We’ll give you a realistic timeline during the discovery process so there are no surprises.

Do I own my website after LGX builds it?

Yes — always. We build on platforms you own and host on servers you control access to. We don’t hold your site hostage or lock you into proprietary systems. If you ever want to move your site or bring maintenance in-house, we’ll support that transition. Most clients choose to stay with our Website Continual Care Plan because it’s easier and more cost-effective than managing it themselves, but the choice is always yours.

What is a Website Continual Care Plan?

It’s our ongoing website maintenance service — covering plugin and theme updates, security monitoring, uptime monitoring, regular backups, and priority support for fixes and changes. Without regular maintenance, WordPress sites become vulnerable to security issues and performance degradation. Our care plans keep your site healthy, fast, and secure so you can focus on your business instead of your website.

Can LGX help with just one or two pages, or do I need a full website project?

We can absolutely scope individual pages — service pages, landing pages, about pages, careers pages, practice area pages. You don’t need to commit to a full rebuild to work with us on web. Many clients start with a single high-priority page and expand from there once they see how it performs.
